Rafa Jiménez Barrón – Filmmaker, Director of Photography & Aerial DP

Rafa Jiménez Barrón is a Mexican-Spanish filmmaker and Director of Photography with a passion for cinematic storytelling. His extensive experience as a documentary cameraman and photographer, traveling the world, has shaped his unique visual style—blending authenticity with compelling imagery. Having collaborated with several international TV channels, he now works with global brands as a DP, delivering high-end commercials, music videos, and corporate films.

He is also an aerial DP and managing partner of DRONE JOHNSON (www.dronejohnson.com), where he’s contributed to over 80 projects, including commercials, movies, TV shows, and a variety of audiovisual productions.

Additionally, Rafa serves as Executive Producer and DoP at SLANG STUDIO (www.slangstudio.eu), the new content production branch of Drone Johnson. There, he works with partners to develop tailor-made visual projects for brands and content, focusing on creating exceptional, high-quality work.
